    halo 3 catch skull problem?

    i am having trouble getting the catch skull....i know where it is and i know that its the correct building....and i also know that you cant kill the wraiths or it dissapears,,,but it just seems not to be there at all......what could it be? also could it be like something with my disk? idk thanks
