    Halo 3 Medal Help With Extermination?

    Yesterday I was playing team slayer on construct. I grabbed the sword. Then all of the other team rushed me and I killed them all... I got an overkill but I did not get an extermination? I should of got the medal because I wiped out the whole other team with an overkill wow.... good job...
