    How to get out of halo 3 sandtrap?

    Can someone tell me in a step by step form how to get out of sandtrap? I know how to overload it, and am trying to use the mongoose method, but I guess I am doing something wrong, because it only worked once, and the minute the person got out they died. What am I doing wrong, or not doing at all?
