2 questions 1 about xbox 360 and the other about halo 2?

ok so in december my mom is buying me a xbox 360.and i want an elite so should i buy it or is there a newer console coming out?? oh and i play halo 2 xbox live if any1 wants to play me.email me and ill give you my gamertag.im about to play.

Well there is kinda a new system comming out but not really.It's more like an upgrade.Right now the 360s are running on 90nm cpu and gpu which is the source to all the"RED RINGS OF DEATH" but there is a version of a 360 with 65nm cpu not sure if it is gpu to but that should atleast help withthose problems.Oh and those won't be widespread probably till atleast end of November .

I've had my regular xbox 360 for a few months now and I've never had a problem playing halo 2 on it, or any other games, its never given me any trouble and the graphics are supurb, the only differance with the elite is it runs a bit cooler(which means u dont gotta turn it off as much whe nure done playing, I just leave mine on but Ive never had a problem) and its got a bigger hardrive, I wouldnt spend the extra money getting an Elite if the regulars r just as good for a slightly less hardrive space, besides You can buy seperate hardrives for it if yours gets full ;)
