a suit in halo 3?

i hav halo 3 for the 360 and i did the start and settings and the appearance thing. i changed my players color,armor and evrything but wen i play the game im not in my suit that i changed. im in the regular suit. how do u play with the modified suit?

hmmmm you can only modify your colour and emblem and suff in multiplayer but do your color stuff and press b and begin the game
