anybody got tips for halo wars?

I would be Captain Cutter, and immediately build barracks, supply pads, and a reactor. Start upgrading your Marines, once they are at the rocket stage, train 4 of them and go attack a Rebel Base. One hit kill with four rockets. Then build Vehicle Depots at both bases and supply pads and reactors. Use your original base to upgrade and you new one to build. Then build tanks, Wolverines, and Cobras. Make sure you army is Anti- everything. Then just wreck kids.

Rush or use air units like hawks and banshees. I won a lot of games. I even won a 1v2 with lots of hawks.( I had an 8 tech level and like 7 bases)
