Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 have poor connection?

I have recently got my xbox 360 back from it repair of a malfunctioning disc drive. (you have to love the constant problems with 360s). I plug it all back in and start playing a COD4 game on live and keep getting terrible lag and 'connection interupted' message flashing up. I am using wireless and had no problems with this at all before. Halo 3 is the same. Does anyone have any idea what may have changed? i have read of problems after googling but they seem to be from christmas and mine was fine until it broke 12th Jan

well that guy is half right the only way you will find out if it is you and not the game is to call xbox cause that thing on there website just tells you if xbox live is running its the server that you need to know about cause my friend and i had trouble getting on call of duty 4 for xbox live and i called them and they said they are having problem with there server so u half to call them to find out otherwise that online thing on there site just tells you if xbox live is running not the server

for some reason lately cod4 and halo 3 and forza players have been affected. mostly the cod4 and halo ppl tho. its not just you though. i have been getting connectoion interupted messages on cod4 and halo always seems like it lags unless you have host.

if you ever wonder if there is a problem with xbox live goto www.xbox.com and go to support and it tells you up top. other than that it might just be the servers from alot of ppl playing that game or just a minor bug they're working out.
