Can guests play downloaded map packs on halo 3?

When I try to play with friends on halo 3, all the guest names flash and it says that some players don't have the map pack available, but i have it on the system. Can guests not use the downloaded content such as the mythic map pack and cold storage?

if it is a system link and both of you are on the same xbox you should be able to. if it is ranked playing on live though then no because guests aren't ranked they can only play social

if you offline and your main profile has it then it should work. also i think when online guest cannot play on new maps. my bro has a 360 and im usally guest so i know.
