Can I play Halo 3 on my pc and still get achievements?

I want to be able to play my xbox 360 halo 3 game on my windows laptop and have the achievements go to my profile/gamertag. So I want to be able to play halo on my laptop and then go to my xbox and play and have the achievements I got on my laptop. Is this possible?

no its not possible just play it on xbox 360 why would you want to put it on your pc controllers are way better
