Can the halo 3 special edition xbox 360 get 3 red rings?

I keep getting 2 red rings and it will cost me $100 to fix it. Should I just pay or can I get 3 red rings and they will fix it for free? Also if it can get 3 red rings how can I make my xbox get them?

every x-box exept the GB can get the RROD but i have experiance with all xboxs by working for the x-box corp./microsoft. you can send any kind of x-box in if they get the 3 rings and it will take 1-3 weeks and you will either get a new x-box or they will fix your old one. but i have the x-box 360 ELITE halo 3 edition and it hasn't gotten the rings yet and my friend comes over and plays all the time.

yes it can get them, EVERY X-box 360, no matter the edition, can get the RROD. The only way to prevent them is to not overwork your console by playing 24 hours straight.
Take a break every few hours, its healthy for you and your console.

yes it can... but its better for u to get the xbox 360 60 GB thats the new xbox 360 with NO red rings once so ever
