So far no you really cannot cause i was playing xbox live on halo 3 with my friend and then my cousin wanted to play so he was guest and he had his own 360 headset also but no one could hear him and he couldnt hear them.... and really a guest cant really/shouldnt be able to talk and hear i mean they should but ...... just nvm......

Well my firend came round and the same thing happened to me. We kinda worked out that it was that he hadn't turned it on and it wasn't in the controller properly. I think guests are more silent though for some reason.
