can you use halo 2 multiplayer map pack without halo 2?

im getting really annoyed because i have anough money for halo 2 multiplayer map pack and not enough for halo 2 please help

nope, it wont work...the multiplayer map pack is an addon to the actual game.

its not a stand alone.
