Confusion Halo 3 ending?

Im confused with the ending for Halo 3 on legendary. i beat the last level and all they showed was master chief freeze. i heard your supposed to see his face, or he was gonna die(which im personally not too sure that he did) can someone plz explain this to me

Who cares what some made up video game guy looks like? I bet, like after halo 14, they will show his face. and you know what they will show? just some guy's face. that's all. WOW

actually Zap z, i just read online today that Bungie has decided to become its own independent company

1. Master Chief dosent die.
2. I have not heard anything about you being able to see Master Chiefs face in Halo 3. And it dosent show his face at the end.
3. After the credits there is more video to see. And if you beat the last lvl on legendary you will be able to see even more video after the credits than the regular after the credits video.
4. Master Chief dosent die. Did I say that already? Well lets just get that straight for the people that feel the need to continuoulsy post "Does Master Chief Die" threads.
