do u have to look for halo 3 snipers?

In the campaign, the only level you start with a sniper is the 5th or 4th level, The Ark.
Online, it depends what type of matchmaking you are playing. On Team Snipers, you will obviously start with a Sniper. Otherwise, as far as I can remember, you have to look for a Sniper when starting any other type of game.

on a few missions you start off with a sniper but if you dont then i guess you gotta look for it. you should take out the jackels they usually have the sniper
