Do you think Gears of War 2 will be a lot better than Halo 3?

Many hardcore gamers are waiting for Halo 3 to come out this September release, since all the media hype it's been getting. In your opinion, do you think Gears of War 2 will be a lot better than Halo 3, and get a bigger hype?

Gears of war was col but the mulitplayer was a huge letdown...I mean everything just turned into who could shoot the shotgun faster the lancer was almost completely useless.

I may like the campaign in GoW better than halo 3, but nothing keeps me playing a game like the amazing xbox live action I'm sure halo 3 will have and gears of war was completely lacking for me in my opinion.
