Hard to compare, Gears of War 2 has a better campaign better graphics and a pretty good live ( not the best ), halo 3 is just good for the live, love the custom games and achievements are fun to get, i think gears 2 is better.

It's been announced by G4TV...
But in my opinion, both are very great!
But I'd go with Halo 3...
