Gears of War 2 vs. Halo Wars!?

Well you gotta realize one thing!!
Gears of War 2 is a first person shooter.
Halo Wars is a futuristic strategy game.
Personaly I would rather go with GOW 2 because id would seem more exciting to me than having a bunch of grunts going up agianst and army of Spartans (We'd all know who'd when that!!!!!!!!)

Gears Of War 2 Hands Down. Halo Wars is something like Command and Conquer. Gears is going to be a great first person shooter. WHO doesnt love a FPS? Halo 1, 2, and or 3 would dominate halo wars. Bungie has a big rep but Call of Duty did kinda take the big rep away. But Gears Of War 2 all the way.

they are completely different games, hard to compare a shooter with a rts.

i would get gears 2
Gears of War 2 because Halo Wars is going to be like the old World of Warcraft games where it looks 2D and you have to purchase land and then you have warriors and junk attack rival kingdoms. You also have places that make guns or money or you have peasants work for you. You know what I mean ?

its u cant compare a RTS game and a Shooter game they are totally differant but i think Halo wars will be awsome!!!

It depends (ps im torn between them too)
Do you like a polished versoin of a classic or a total twist on genre.
Basicly you know your gonna get a great game with gears 2, but it probabaly won't be very original, whereas halo wars is a complete twist which could be really amazing or really bad.
So with Halo wars its a gamble that could have a really big payoff and Gears 2 will definetly be great, but will it be amazing.
It depends on what risk you wanna take and what you personally like

o man thats a REALLY good question. it's not easy to pick because halo wars has screenshots and footage but gears of war 2 has none of that except the teaser trailer. i've always been a fan of good online shooters so i'm leaning toward GoW2. BUT!!! I do enjoy a good RTS (including the upcoming game Tom Clancy Endwar: coming soon to a store near you! lol) so i'm gonna get Halo Wars too. this is a good way to start up a debate with all the other fans. good stuff man.
