Gears of War or Halo 3? Which should I buy?

I have live now so I want one of these games for it. I have rented Halo 3 with a friend but haven't played GOW yet. Is it as good as I hear?

I loved both of them but single players for both are short. If its for the multiplay iam not sure since they both have diffrent stuff that are better then the other. Halo Maps seem to be alittle bigger though.

gears of war is much better more people play on xbox live with gears of war. halo 3 isnt as good as people say it is i think gears of war is much better

Fun and excitement in Single Player + Online.
Some great graphics.

Short single player.
It can be quite repetitive sometimes.
Brutes simply aren't as sophisticated to fight against as past Halo's Elites.


Gears of War

EXCELENT gaming!
An awful lot of blood + gore.
Some good Danger music (if ya know what I mean).
Great Graphics.
Futuristic weapons, (EG: Theres a gun, with a chainsaw attatched to it. (You can use the chainsaw too!!))

Short single player.
While generally decent, has issues.
Very short cutscenes, meaning you don't have much time to rest!

You Want a really gory game get gears of wars.It has way more blood and real tough bosses. If you want Massive Multiplayer get Halo 3.Awesome storyline. If i were you i'd Get both of them. Both Of Them Have Real Short stories.
