Gears of War or Halo 3?

I love the you have to think before u kill and the tactics of GoW but i love the rush and kill which is better?

halo 3 because you can use the same tactics to a lvl which isnt the best, but gears is fun, id go with halo 3 good graphics big map, and you like the rush and kill, but gears has good graphics, and small maps, plus the games kinda short is you ask me.
