Gears of War or Halo?

I'm trying to decide which should I buy?

depends what you like

if you like games with good single player and online play wicth isnts too bad got for gears of war.

if you like OK singleplayer but enjoy doing alot with games such as :
-Making maps
-playing online
-playing co-op woth 4 mates
them go for halo 3

But if you have got xbox live go for call of duty 4 as singleplayer is too short but is great online

Halo is great if you have played all of the previous games on the original xbox but if you haven't played the previous games and are just going to buy Halo 3 then i would get Gears of war as you are not going to truly appreciate Halo's story and instead concentrate on the bad points of it being a short game and not like it.

Just wait for Gears of War 2. Unreal Engine has created probably the greatest virtual enviorment interaction ever. It should be out by November 7th. If you get the limited edition you can use a golden lancer for online play.
