gears of war vs halo 3?

I actually own halo 3, and i want to get gears of war 2. problem is, i heard gears of war can take up to 20 MINUTES to find a match. Ive also heard that epic games has fixed this with a patch. basically i want to know if they really fixed this, and if gears of war multiplayer is as good as halo 3's. im just bored of halo, and i want something new.

If you are bored of halo... go to call of duty 4.. it is a lot more fun then GoW and halo 3.

they both suck in my opinion. ahah
