halo 2/3 - shooting?

how can i learn to be a better shooter,
i will be aiming my gun at someone and believe i am shooting them in the head like several times, they shoot back at me with one shot then im dead, i dont get it at all, frust

You're in the completely wrong section. Also, see which guns are more accurate, and how far they're accurate to. From there determine what's stronger, and at what distance you should aim center-of-mass instead of going for headshots. I know on the old one the assault rifle thing had very poor accuracy, but the pistol was pretty precise. I haven't played 2 or 3.
