Halo 3 achievement problems?

I'm having trouble with the achievement Defend This on Halo 3. Today on Rat's Nest, I got 3 flag melee kills, but the achievement didn't register. Does Rat's Nest count as a Legendary Map or what?

no, rats nest, standoff, and foundry are all heroic maps
legendary are blackout, avalanche (where i got it), and ghost town
then the mythics are sandbox, orbital, and assembly

no. the 3 legendary maps are:
Avalanche
Blackout
and also
Ghost Town
it costs microsoft points so start savin up.
