Halo 3, cortana on Normal.?

hey, ok i'm a noob. its pathetic. but I can't beat the Level Cortana on halo3, i saved and then i get back to see i have no ammo.. and those aliens have guns now.. so i thought if there is anybody who can help me, please give me your gamertag.. my gamer tag is, skul gurl

I actually beat this level on legendary, my tactic, just run. Ignore all the flood and just run to Cortana, shoot the things she tells you to to destroy high charity and run to the arbiter who will fight the flood off for you.
