halo 3 disc problem.?

i bought my second copy of halo 3 (which is brand new because i kept getting disc was unreadable on my first game. i can play all mutiplayer maps in matchmaking however when i go to campiagn and want to play legendary difficulty it loads the mission arrival where it says 100% start game.... then i watch the
cut scenes then after that it says disc is unreadable i know it is
not my disc drive or my harddrive because i can play gears of
war 2 and all my other games perfectly. this is my second copy
of halo and the same problems still persist. i cleaned the game with a soft cloth cleared the cache, i did everything and still.. the same problems.

It isn't the disc, it's your Xbox. That happens just before the red-rings come. Get ready!

unfortunately, there isn't much you can do because they are REALLY cheap disks i have the same problem. However, try cleaning the disks as followed:

But the disk on a stick and put it over steam from boiling water. THIS ACTUALLY WORKS FOR A LOT OF MY GAMES.

Second, Game stop sells a great disk fixer liquid. ask about it at one of their stores.
