halo 3 disk scratched?

a while ago my friend knocked down the 360 then my halo disk started scratching up and then my friend picked it up which he was not suppose to do and then my other friend turned the 360 off.

i checked my disk and it had a scratch on it(it didnt look too bad but it was a little deeper than just a normal little scratch

i first tried to play the beginning of all the campaign missions and it seemed to work

but now i want to do legendary difficulty and i want to know if there is a possibility that i wont be able to finish it because of that scratch.

so is it possible that the scratch could mess up part of the campaign missions even though the beginning of every mission loads and plays fine

or am i alright



also all my custom and forge game/maps work fine


what else could the scratch possibly damage?

so if i can play the beginning of every campaign mission does that mean the rest of the campaign missions will be okay?
its not scratched so much that i need a new disk or anything im just asking about the campaign missions

Yea it could only scratch the part of the disk with that information

You're fine all the scratch damages is the disc and the disc doesn't keep your saved information. That's all saved on your hard drive or memory card. Just buy a new disc and you'll be perfect again. I trying to sell it at Gamestop towards a used copy so you wont have to pay so much, you'll get less for the game but at least you can get something for it instead of throwing it away.

NEVER move the system not one bit while a disc is playing, it could do even more damage.

bring it to a local video game store and they will use a machine to get the scratches out
