Halo 3 DLC for Ranked Slayer?

So I decided to get a 1600 Microsoft Point Card and was going to get Castle Crashers D) and the map pack needed to play Ranked Slayer on Halo 3. However, I do not know if I need both Heroic and Legendary Maps or just one of them. Which one is it that I need?

Heroic DLC is free while Legendary DLC costs 800 MP so just get both.

There are 4 map packs for Halo 3.

Heroic Pack - Free to Download
Legendary Pack - 600 Microsoft Points
Cold Storage Map - Free to Download
Mythic Pack - 800 Microsoft Points

A 5th map pack, the other half of Mythic Pack, will come included with Halo 3 ODST. I'd wait on buying any new map packs for the original Halo 3, and instead purchase Halo 3 ODST on September 22nd. It will come with a disc that has EVERY map released for Halo 3 to date, plus the 3 new maps.

Lone Wolves - None
Team Slayer - Mythic
Team Doubles - Mythic
Squad Battle - Heroic
MLG - Heroic
Team SWAT - Mythic
Team Snipers - Mythic

Social
Rumble Pit - Mythic
Social Slayer - None
Social Skirmish - None
Social Team DLC - Mythic
Multi Team - Mythic
Social Big Team - Mythic
Action Sack - Mythic

Also, when something requires Mythic, that means it requires everything before as well, including Legendary, Heroic and Cold Storage. For a Heroic requirement, it's simply the Heroic and Cold Storage packs.
