halo 3 EXP?

on halo 3 i can't earn EXP. i have won many games and became the MVP but i still am not gaining EXP. If you loose games do you have to make up for them. for example if you start with 0 EXP and loose 5 games do you have to win 5 games before you can get 1 EXP?

you have to be playing social and ranked games and if u quit u lose xp. i dont think u can go lower then 0xp. if u have this prblem after playing ranked and social matches then call up xbox support.
