Halo 3 help????????????????????????

i beat halo 3 on easy and now i want to play on legendary..................but when i go to the main screen it says resume solo and i click on the tab and i start from the last checkpoint on easy...........and i already beat the game..........help..........please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anything that says new game or something like that,if so then click on it.

Don't press resume solo game just press the CAMPAIGN button and set it to the first level and go to difficulty and make it Legendary

play on legendary and play untill it say (save checkpoint) after it save quit and resume and if it start from your easy checkpoint then u have a problem i say make a new profile
