Halo 3 help...........?

Okay so, I've had Halo 3 on Xbox 360 for a while now, but all of a sudden, when it loads a level, it goes up to 23%, it stops for about 30 seconds, and goes back down to 0%. I don't understand why that is... help?

this is most likley your disc. im guessing that its kinda scratched up... mine does the same thing. over where i live theres a place called video village that will do somthing like fix it. idk if it works but you could see if one of those disc scratch fixers works. sorry i couldnt be more help.
