Halo 3-How do guests effect a players rank and/or experience when in a social game?

When playing Halo 3 matchmaking with a guest in social games. Does the performance of the guest affect the experience and/or rank of the main player? If the guest does poorly will this negatively affect the main players stats in any way?

when you play with a guest, it does not affect the main persons score, gamerscore, rank, or anything else. Basically the guest is using a "guest file" that dosent recive any gamescore or rank.
