Halo 3 is getting too hard for me? need help?

I think I am getting worse at Halo 3. I need 20 skill and I have 19 skill, its taking me forever to get 20 skill? I am on lone wolves and i keep getting 5th 6th 7th or even last. Is there a way to get better or an easier way to get 20 skill on lone wolves.

Keep playing, practice. But honestly, that game is overrated and old, play something newer

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if your having trouble in the teens, maybe halo isn't your game...
I would try to lvl up on Team Slayer, lone wolves can get pretty spawn time dependent and you can get stuck for 5 min at a time just getting owned.

i would just practice with social slayer or something like that, so you dont regress in skill level...everytime you lose you lose skill points. give it time.
