*Halo 3 IWHBYD skull problems*?

hello i recently found the skulls in halo 3 and am trying get IWHBYD
i start on the covonant from the start of the level fight till i kill truth
then kill all the flood then i jump thrue the rings in this order 4654534
but the rings do not light up and no skull apears
i do not have all the other skulls do i need them first
or am i just not jumping properly

You must be jumping in the incorrect order.. maybe you are jumping the wrong way
