halo 3 legendary campaign question. xbox?

soo im trying to complete halo 3 on legendary. So far im ive gotten to the level floodgate by myself. If i were to get accept a game invite from my friend for this level, and complete it. Would it count toward my progress to finishing this game on legendary? i hope this makes sense lol.

Yes, co-op missions also count for completing it. You could complete half of the missions by yourself and the other half in co-op and you would be OK. You can accept it.

Yes. It will overwrite your current campaign game. Dont accept the game invite. Dont worry this makes perfect sense .
