Halo 3 legendary map packs????

Is it ever going to be free? I really want to download it but i'am not paying for it as Heroic became free eventually.

Any dates known yet?

Bungie has stated that the legendary map packs will not be free but they might change their mind.

no no dates yet buy the mythic map pack come out early 2009 so you would assume the legendary will be free before than i wont be surprised is they turn free a near Christmas
