Halo 3 Map Questions?

Depending on what category your trying to play. When you go to menu to select the different types of rooms. Like Lone Wolf, Big Team Social, MLG games..etc, it will say what map packs are req to join that room to start lookin for a party.
To download extra map packs, just go to the market place and go to Halo 3 and buy the extra maps.

the reason for this is because the Heroic map pack for halo 3 is free and they require it for all the play list just go on the market place and look under the games section and look for halo 3 they will be free and with 2 other map packs not for free.after you download them you can play online
