Halo 3 Maps Need Help.......!!!?

Ok So My dad doesn't want to buy me microsoft points so i can buy The Legendary map pack for halo 3 i only have the 360 for 2 weeks and my friend said that there is a glitch that gives you the maps which i dont belive but is there a glitch ? Any help nice enough to give me Microsoft point (I know no one will) Plz Help !

If your friend has the map pack, you can recover his account on your Xbox 360 and re-download the map pack. It will save it to your hard drive. Just remember, this will ONLY work for DLC.
