Halo 3: Marathon Man Achievement help?

Hey. i play halo 3, and one day i decided to go for the marathon man achievement. Ok, i needa know some paramiters.
1:How long do i have to stay in the terminal for it to be registered?
2o i have to finish the level?
3o i have to start from the beginning?
4o i have to do all the levels in order, start with the arch, then go to covenant, then do cortana (no terminals) then finish with halo?

i ask this because i visited all the terminals and there is no achievement. please help thanks!

You have to go all the way through the messages in the terminal. Most of them end with the phrase FRAGMENT//END. You basically select it go through the messages then when it starts blinking red it will show more. Go through those messages until you can't go any further. No you don't have to finish the level or start from the beginning. And no it doesn't matter about order.

1. You have to view the entire terminal. That includes reading the entire first message, then reading the message that appears after the alarm sounds and the terminal turns red.

4. No. You can do them in any order, yet you should read them in that order to understand the story that the terminals tell.
P.S. View the final terminal on legendary difficulty. You get a different message than you would if you viewed it on another difficulty.
