Halo 3 mark v armor problem?

I got the rank sergent on Halo 3 xbox live and have the rank completed but I don't have the mark v armor. Why is this and what should I do? My gamertag is Helljumper Thor.

Everybody has the Mark V armor(actually it's Mark VI). It's the default armor. Go here to check the permutations:
