halo 3 matchmaking help...?

When i was playing halo 3 online I got the spartan insignia on my service record. And for some reason i just dissapeared after i played a social slayer. Is there a way to get it back?

well it depends because to get permanentlytly your true rank(service record rank) and any of the playlists rank (the one thats silver) both have to be a liutenent or higher
