Halo 3 Medal Help With Extermination?

Yesterday I was playing team slayer on construct. I grabbed the sword. Then all of the other team rushed me and I killed them all... I got an overkill but I did not get an extermination? I should of got the medal because I wiped out the whole other team with an overkill wow.... good job bungie... learn how to give medals properly

ok, listen if that first guy u killed respawned before u killed the others, u wont get the medal, the only way i ever got that medal was in grifball when i killed a team with one swing
