Halo 3 - Moderate NAT settings?

Is there a way to change my NAT settings?

Also, should I call Xbox about this or my internet provider?
I play halo 3, yet you have to have OPEN NAT settings in order to play with some other players.

When I run a connection test on my xbox - it says my NAT settings are Moderate, and they need to be on open.

I have no clue how to even start to do this.

NAT settings are configured on your network router. Generally, you can modify them through the router's interface. If you didn't set up your network, call the person who did.

If you can provide more details about what you are trying to accomplish, it would be helpful.
