Halo 3 Multiplayer?

When you are playing multiplayer and you press end game in the start menu does it save your progress?

you cannot save in multiplayer. unless it is co-op mission. then to keep going u have to have 2 controllers active at the same time and reload that mission. usually in co-op, its at the most recent checkpoint. system link co-op mission is unknown to me. sorry bout that bit
