halo 3 mythic map pack?

i pre ordered halo wars and i know that if you pre order yo get the mythic map pack free with it. right? does it come with the game so you only get it when the game comes out or what? in halo 3 there is already a play list devoted to the halo wars mythic map pack. plz jus give me all the info you have on it
