Halo 3:ODST Audiophile question?

Me and my friend went for the Audophille achievement. Last night we decided to just go at it.. we found all 29.. after nearly 3 hours of work... then my sis tells us that we have to stop the game and restart ...........to get to the part where the last one is.. so we do that,we lost all of our audio file and the guy died.

Does it have anything to do with me not beating the game??

Alright. The last one is in DataHive. In the part where the officer USEUALLY dies by bugs. Instead, after you get 29, he won't die by bugs, he'll open a door to the last audiophile. In the room, the body of Sadies father will be thier. After the phile is done, I belive the officer trys to kill you. Dispose of him quickly and continue on with the level.
