Halo 3 Odst Legendary?

Okay my brother and I just beat the final level on legendary, you know, the one where you have to escort dare and the alien in the garbage truck. Well we just beat it and got the credits and such but it still says we didn't beat it and we did it over again and it still won't count. We think it's because we started on the resume co-op game, but it still won't work. Does anyone know what to do?

It might be that on one of the profiles that you are using you didn't complete a level on legendary, it happened to me and my brother where I only got it and he didn't we checked the levels and he used a different profile for one of the levels. Hope this helps some.
