Halo 3 or Gears of War 2?

I just got a new Xbox 360 Pro and i love it. But i only have Call of Duty:World at War. But now i have more money to get a new game. Which one, Gears is cool, but everybody is now playing Halo3?

Gears of war 2 is fun and the storyline is good but when you play multiplayer mostly everyone uses the shotgun and that gets really stressful.

That is a very difficult question for many reasons. I will list the benefits then tell you my opinion. GW2 (Gears of War 2) Has an excellent story mode. You can coop and saw through living-town-eating-worms. You can shoot mortars at groups of charging scum. It's downside is that online is embarassingly slow. It takes 5-10 minutes to find matches and then the respawns are endless. H3 (Halo 3) Has an excellent online play. It groups you with people that are your level. Not like in GW2. You can party up with friends build bases and battle it out. You can gun down invisible zombies coming out from every crevice possible. Un fortunatly the campaign stinks. It's a four player but it's boring.

Soooo.... In my opinion H3 is better because i love online.

Honestly...who cares if people are playing Halo 3 cuz GEARS 2 is insane...you will not regret buying it.

The gameplay and graphics are f'n awesome.
I know people who want to but a 360 just by watching me play Gears 2.

If new... in my opinion Halo 3. Gears of War is amazing but the second part was a disappointment. I thought they hurried to make it and sell it before coming up with a good story. However if you buy them used you can get them both and is a win win situation... that way you can decide for yourself which one you like the best.
