Halo 3 or Halo:ODST???

Can someone explain to me the difference between Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST. Also which one should i get since im guesin regular halo 3 will go down in price?

You should get Halo 3, for bigger and better + more classic gameplay. And the difference is, that Halo ODST is WAAAY different from Halo 3. I suggest looking on youtube, searching videos about it. That helps you iscover the difference between the two.

ODST is a completely different game, at least for the single-player campaign. It's more of a spin-off or an expansion pack than anything else.

Halo 3 (which is out now) is the continuation of the story from Halo and Halo 2, and finishes that storyline. It also has a very good multiplayer component. Halo 3:ODST is a different campaign, where you take the role of a normal human ODST, and is not yet released. The ODST game will also come with a seperate disc holding the whole Halo 3 multiplayer component. Essentially, they're completely seperate storylines with a shared multiplayer section.
