halo 3? please see below!?

my boyfriend and his friend have been discussing halo 3's mellee attack and this has caused quite a bit of contraversey (fists have been throw). what is all this about? can anyone resolve this situation?

It's all about lag.

The lower the lag the more chance you get to conect (melle attack)

That is when you hit somebody with the weapon you have in your hand. It can be really handy in a close combat with the enemy and very powerful. If you sneak up on them and hit them in the back, that is an automatic kill. We use it all the time when we play Halo 3 online. That is how we get our victory's.

I have no idea though, I am wondering the same. On COD4 they say use the melee to attack people. God knows?

AHHHHHHHHH I think I know what it is, you know where you can hit people with your gun on halo? Thats meleeing people. Its really powerful on halo, only need 2 knocks on yourself to die. My boyfriend kept doing it to me when we were playing 2 player and it was SO ANNOYING.
