halo 3 problem. help?

i got prettty far wen i first played halo 3 on solo campain. wen i want to play again, it starts me off in the begining of the campain, how do i go back where i left off?

did you get pass any checkpoints if you did it should have started thier

when u go to the campaigne lobby, you can choose what level you start on and difficulty and all that good stuff on the left hand side of the screen.

did you save it and make sure you didn't delete the saved file.
search around on your 360 HDD to make sure you still have that saved file.
never happened to me
my friend knows this guy that can hook your xbox HDD to the computer without disconnecting it so i can play my game while it's hooked up to the computer
try google for that
